Marijuana and the Dental Workplace [Webinar]

This webinar will examine how to distinguish disability laws to provide reasonable accommodation for employees and familiarize yourself with drug testing issues and marijuana laws.

Goals for the webinar: 

  1. Understand some basic terminology.
  2. Review federal and state laws and trends concerning marijuana and employment.
  3. Consider how marijuana laws may affect the dental workplace and your practice.

 

 
 

Presenter

Cathryn E. Albrecht, Esq., Senior Associate General Counsel, ADA

Cathryn joined the ADA in 2009 after 18 years in private practice, primarily in the area of employment law. As Senior Associate General Counsel, Cathryn works on litigation, human resources, risk management and insurance coverage matters. She also serves as a legal liaison to the Joint Commission on National Dental Examinations, the Commission on Dental Accreditation, the Council on Ethics, Bylaws and Judicial Affairs, and the Board’s Compensation Committee and Committee on ADA Sessions.
