Although dental practices in many states are on the track back to normal patient volume and collections, some patients may seek additional financing options if, because of pandemic-related financial hardship or loss of insurance coverage, they may be looking for a way to manage the cost of care.

CareCredit, a Synchrony solution, is an ADA Member Advantage-endorsed provider of patient financing for ADA members. CareCredit is supporting dental practices with limited time offers good through August 31, 2020.

“CareCredit created a practice revitalization program that we believe is a double-win,” said Bete Johnson, senior vice president and general manager of dentistry at CareCredit. “We have included offers for practices who are currently enrolled with CareCredit and for those that would like to be.”

CareCredit is offering enrolled providers the opportunity to offer patients more time to pay for care with special pricing on a select merchant rate through August 31. Enrolled providers who offer the CareCredit credit card can visit CareCredit.com/Rates to see their rates. CareCredit is also offering enrolled providers an in-practice promotion for new cardholders, also through August 31. “We’re motivating the patients to work with the doctors now more than ever,” Ms. Johnson said.

Additionally, Ms. Johnson said, CareCredit is waiving practice enrollment fees to both newly enrolled practice clients and former practice clients interested in resuming their relationship with the company. This offer is also available through August 31.

CareCredit has developed practice recovery resources to help practice revitalization. For more information, contact CareCredit at (800) 859-9975 (option 1, then 6) or visit www.carecredit.com/dental.
