The Quarterly Business Survey of ADA members, sponsored by ADA Member Advantage in cooperation with the Center for Professional Success, finds that 66 percent of reporting practices requires staff to wear scrubs in the office. In addition, the survey found that:
- The two most common approaches to finding new staff are recommendation/word of mouth (cited by 78 percent of respondents) and online job boards (69 percent)
- 68 percent of those surveyed said that they conduct annual performance reviews with members of their staff
The survey data also suggest that younger dentists may find increased opportunities in ownership and private practice as existing practitioners seek to grow their business.
