Title slide for webinar presentation titled How PPO Processing Policies Affect Claim Adjudication - Part 1

An important business decision any dentist makes is whether or not to sign a PPO agreement (i.e., contract). There are many considerations a dentist should take into account before signing. This on-demand webinar from April 22, 2021 will discuss typical processing policies utilized by PPO plans and their potential financial implications on a dental practice, including downcoding, bundling and least expensive alternative treatment (LEAT) clauses.

Viewers of this webinar will:

  • Better understand payer processing policies and the potential financial implications they may have on a dental practice.
  • Gain an understanding of what questions to ask before signing a participating provider agreement.
  • Learn of available ADA online resources to help with dental insurance questions and concerns.

ADA leadership continues to hear your feedback on these issues and has taken action to assist dental offices with dental insurance issues. This webinar is another of the many ways the ADA is working to support our members by providing valuable educational ready-to-use resources on innovative dental insurance solutions for dentists.
