Find the help you need
Having access to accounting, real estate or other professional expertise may do wonders for your business. While you may be able to do some of this work yourself, professional service providers can help, and in most cases are able to do the work better than you ever could. If you’re in the market for an accountant or a real estate professional, consider these professional websites when starting your search:
American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA.org)
Did you know? All CPAs are accountants but not all accountants are CPAs. In many states, anyone can call themselves an “accountant.” In order to become a CPA almost all states require that an individual meet educational, experience and ethical requirements and pass the Uniform CPA Examination. Use the Find a CPA search tool to locate a professional just right for you. The search tool only includes CPAs who have specialty designations.
National Association of REALTORS®
Working for America's property owners, the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR), “The Voice for Real Estate,” has 1 million members involved in all aspects of the residential and commercial real estate industry. NAR advocates on behalf of members and consumers to protect private property rights, keeping homeownership in America the envy of the world. Only members of NAR can call themselves a REALTOR®, and are pledged to uphold a strict Code of Ethics and Standards of Practice. Use the Find a REALTOR® directory on realtor.com to locate a real estate professional to assist with your personal or business needs.
